Projects of Clarence Bechard

Clarence Bechard, of Leamington, Ontario, Canada bechards@netrover.com has sent in some unique projects, which he describes below.

"I built one of the large clocks for each of my children. The Dome clock (far left) required cutting 2500 holes and took 162 hours to complete. The Apostle clock (center) in the center is motorized so the apostles travel in and out of the clock. The mini grandfather style clock (far right) was raffled off with all the proceeds going to charity.

The wood used was 1/4" oak veneer plywood with a golden oak stain which I applied by dipping each piece into a large plastic tray filled with stain and then hung to dry. They were then assembled and a latex top coat was applied by spray."

The Lord's Prayer was glued to a piece of plywood covered in felt. The majority of the patterns come from Wildwood Designs http://www.wildwooddesigns.com/ .
