"I made this garden bench as a
mother's day for my mom's garden. It's made from a single
2x10x16' board recycled from my old car port, and the back and
arm rests are made with copper pipe, most of which came from a
recycling center. Sanding the wood took 2 weeks to remove
the old paint/stain. To speed up the process, she bought me a
13" planer for my birthday.
I'm currently building another which will be used as a demo for a landscaping company in Seattle, and another to be shipped to Flint, Michigan. Seems as though I may have found a niche market for them. Each bench comes from a single, 16' board."

"I now own an old house with a medium sized shop. After remodelling the pantry, the dogs kept getting into their dogfood, so I built the dogfood bin from a 1x12 piece of pine that used to be a closet shelf (yes it was 1 board). The design is similar to the onion/potato bin photo's I've seen on this site. Don's cutoff jig really helped getting all the cuts square."

"My first wood project after buying my Skil tablesaw 5 years ago, was this recycle bin which can be used also as a bench."

"My dad bought me a
dust collector for my birthday last year, so I built the dust
separator to work with it. It's a piece of recycled
3/4" plywood recycled from the carport I tore down. To
make the circle, I made a circle cutting jig for my router and
used a 1/2" straight bit.
The two rings on the bottom are for mating up to my garbage cans."

"My down draft sanding table is still waiting to be finished. It works quite well, but I need to finish countersinking the holes in the top to improve the airflow (336 holes done, 792 to go). I also need to paint or stain it."
