"The boxes for the grandkids are what my father-in-law called
a "treasure" box and I patterned them after the ones he made for my own
kids many years ago. He told my kids to hide their valuable
stuff in there and keep it locked. Years later it was
interesting to see what they considered valuable."

"The clocks were Christmas presents for my own kids just a few years
ago, This is one of the few projects I have made from
somebody else's plans. I got the plans and the clock parts
from Woodcraft, and had a local sign maker put the names on the glass
front."

"The grandsons needed a place for their toys, so I built a nice big
box. I made sure there was plenty of ventilation in case they
put their dog, or their brother in the box. I used my Leigh
jig and a technique they call inlayed dovetails to join the sides."
