Box-Joint Jig By Dave (Vin) Vincent - valley@bicnet.net

"I made this jig from plans I found in WOOD Magazine issue 27 from February '89.
It easily sets up for any size finger, because with each revolution of the crank, the sliding block moves 1/16". I cut the fingers for 3 recipes boxes at the same time with perfect accuracy!

My jig is made of maple and finished with that Watco Danish Oil. There are simpler jigs for cutting this joint but this one is more versatile and of course half the fun of woodworking is using tools that you make."
This is a box Vin made with
his jig. If you wish to check out a couple of examples of the
work this jig can produce, click on the small photo to the left,
and you will go to Dave's page in the U-Made-It Gallery. There
will be a small photo of this jig to click on there, which will
bring you back to this page, when you're done there.
