Adjustable Band Saw Fence by Ron Evers of Beeton, Ontario, Canada revers@accglobal.net

"This fence can be adjusted for any run-out of the saw blade by adjusting the near thumbscrew. The fence is fastened to the double tapered clamping bar with a slip pin hinge. There are T nuts in the clamping bar through which the thumbscrews pass and steel furniture glides recessed in the back of the fence on which the thumbscrew ends rest. A coil spring between the clamping bar and the fence (set in mortises) at the far end assures fence contact with the end of the near thumbscrew. Once the fence is adjusted to the blade track, the wing nut locks the near thumbscrew and then the far thumbscrew is brought to bear against the fence."
