"All of these boxes were created using the intarsia technique, which I learned by taking classes. Among the wood types used to make them were Mogno, Jacarandá (from Bahia of course), Freijó, Cedro, Cerejeira, Imbuia and Marfim. Polyurethane was used to finish them, followed by carnuba wax."

"This is my last project. This Home Theatre was made using reforested wood named "tauari". It was sealed with polyuretane. The door was made using MDF and glass. The size (approx.) is 15´ X 2`."
Note From Don Firth: The project was so large that it was impossible to get the entire unit in the photo. As it is, some of the project is cut off on the right side..

"This is a kind of stand or shelving unit. It´s used to store gifts, or bottles of wine. We are from Portugal, and wine is very common for us. It was made using cherry and some pieces of plywood laminated with cherry. This wood was darkened using "nogueira stract" (another kind of black wood) and finished using polyuretane.
I gave it to my mother in law and she put it in her beach house.

Inside, I put some lights to take more effect of contents."

"This is one of the projects that I have made. It's a Child´s Bench Toy Box and it's especially for my son Gabriel. It was built using pine. Some modifications were made to the back & arms in order to simplify the job.
I used a finishing technique known here as "patina" - white latex base coat followed by acrillic coats. The decals which I applied, were by Warner Brothers."
"I first saw this project on www.charm.net/~jriley/woodware.html and you can get the FREE PLANS there too!"
