Projects of Takeshi Uchida

Takeshi Uchida of Tokorozawa-city, Saitama, Japan go@earth.email.ne.jp has sent in some of his favourite projects. He says "I like wood crafts and making wooden projects for fun".

 

 

1. Spoon made of cherry, with urushi (Japan) finish.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Cupboard made of cherry, with wood wax finish.

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Tray made of Ho. "Magnolia obovata" is the botanical name. This wood in English speaking parts of the world, is known as "Whitebark Japanese Magnolia".

The project was then given a wood wax finish.
