Virginia's Projects

Virginia from Florida, W8virginia@wmconnect.com sends along this Santa, proving once again, that patterns for projects can come from anywhere and everywhere! She explains below.

I'd just like to add that Santa must have been glad he beat the big January snow storm to Toronto this year and glad when he got to Florida, to see such nice greenery and colourful blooms.

"I got this picture on the internet and I can't remember just where. It wasn't a pattern - just a little icon and I enlarged it by using graph paper and made my own pattern. It was made with 1/4 inch plywood. I nailed a block of wood on the back of the bottom and drove a big nail up thru it, to put it in the ground. I have made a life size cowboy, a nosy neighbor - head and hands that looks over a fence in my yard. Here in Florida, I can only work when it is cool as my work shop is not a/c".

Another of Virginia's projects is her cowboy leaning against the post.
